This afternoon we stretched our imagination muscle as we shared a last supper like the disciples did with Jesus in the Easter story.
This afternoon we used watercolour paints to do a detailed painting of a leaf. First we drew the leaf, stretching our noticing muscles to draw the shape and all of the veins running through it. Then we mixed our colours and used the paints. Our final pieces are absolutely fantastic and we can’t wait to use the watercolours again!
Today we were pirates! We played a game to choose treasure from the chest, and weighed it using the pan balances to see which bundle of treasure was heavier. We were really absorbed in our learning and collaborated in our groups!
Today we have been investigating capacity. After recalling what we did yesterday we used this to help us complete our task today. We really had to stretch our making links and distilling learning muscle.
